This kit is very well molded in crisp detail with very little cleanup required



At this time I saw the opportunity to optionally convert the trucks to HO scale compatibility


A doner, Track Cleaner car will offer the carriage, trucks and wheels, and coupler boxes


I traced the clearance of the Draisine trucks with a pencil so I know where to mount the bolts to secure the track cleaner chassis














lines up perfectly with a Bi-level autorack

Railroad track bed and rail assembly is very accurately detailed










The tiny turret is next to a bicycle chain link for scale comparison



This TC Hatch detail is on the inside and won't be seen after glued closed

Base color green is applied and the railroad bed gets the 'sprits' treatment to add more visual texture to the ballast. The wheel rims were sprayed 'chrome' first then when dry they were sprayed base color green through a quickly made mask.

Finished the Soviet draisine, Krasnaja Zvezda, in 1/72 scale this morning
