Drilone, Incredible builds and paint! What are the secrets behind your weathering and what paint media did you use on the all city styles train? For instance, how did you replicate the older graffiti faded after the train buff chemical bath? The tunnel diorama with the lights and third rail and sh* is on point.

yeah, welcome to the forum. your work is the bomb no doubt.. kozma pretty much said it best. the tunnel diorama is the business. very lifelike. take it from an eye witness....

The All City Styles was totally experimental but it worked. I sprayed it greey with primer, then with a big painters brush added white, let it dry after 3 thin coats, then did some graffiti, then i put 5-7 slightly watered down coats till i was satisfied. then airbrushed the colors and added more tags and outlines. the key is multiple coats... gives depth.

also brushed brown into the door and window jams and any crease between stages.

WOW - nice come up. even the HO scale r30s and 40s are about 50. a pop and i think thats just raw fresh out the mold.
