Hi guys, As you can see im new to these forums. So please excuse my lack of model train knowledge. Is that Peasemaker up there G scale. Is G scale the largest scale? Before the the ones a person can actually sit in and ride?
I know I have lots to learn.

dont worry about having lots to learn - we all do. yes, the pacemaker is G scale, the only one i have. yeah, i THINK G is the biggest before the full scale joints, that people ride on. people usually set up G scale in their Garden or outside the house (i.e. Garden scale) G scale is dope but you really need a disposable income lots of time and a considerable amount of land to support a full scale running G scale operation. here is a G scale vid i liberated from another forum to put it in perspective: www.youtube.com/watch?v=l_Xwq-k6NHI on average G scale contemporary American deisel power units run about 500.00+ and the rolling stock is around 70.00 - 80.00 +. once you factor in the track and any structures - well you get the point...they should call it D scale for Dream scale.. although LGB makes some reasonable priced sets for around 2-300.00 - if your into the traditional European steam looking stuff.

yaeh, that's a scale and hobby I can't even touch. I've never seen a layout but it would be fascinating. G scale is very close to 1/25 - 1/24 scale. This scale is the common model car and PU truck kits you see and some die cast companies make cars in this scale too
