I hadn't seen a STRICTLY passenger thread here.. i have a small but hopefully growing roster of my own. all n scale. I've been around amtrak's northeast corridor long enough that I want some action on my own layout (when i build one). Here are some pics. This is kato i think... the F40PH is life-like and bargain basement. Sweet older CNW car that doesn't match anything else i have.. nice though. More mismatched rolling stock. what do y'all have??

i have never really been interested in passenger models. i love to ride the train tho. the only 2 passenger trains i have are these two toys i aquired somewhere along the line. they are really cheap and have horn hooks, so if anything - once i begin a layout i will kitbash a diner or something to include these. the only N equipment i have. i have a cotton belt GP38 on display at my desk at work also. on second thought, i do love passenger trains. once i have an income that can truly support my model rr addiction, i will get a few of these. no prototype necessary - i remember full well how these should look.

there are a couple out there. this site has a few...http://islandmodelworks.com/Subway.html. heres one: like most model subway trains (MTA specifically), the size ratio of truck to car body always looks a little off to me.. when all else fails though, you can make your own. KO is the man with cast molding.
