did you ever get any info on this car? i know Ouija is next to ich, and looks like creed on the door, maybe. i have no idea on the end. you have a model of BNSF799565 or just going to redo the whole thing? look forward to seeing your progress.

That's all I have from your reply help on the other forum board. Thanks. I'm repainting this one. It's is the same style body and length as this BNSF reefer.  I'll have to come up with decals or transfers for the logos and reporting marks. I'll post progress here. |

I just started this project  After cleaning off the model, a gray primer was sprayed on.  Then the base color.  A simple masking tape mask was used to then spray the roof aluminum |

I pulled out the dry transfers today and added the reporting marks.  Not going to apply the "LD LMT" and that sht that is the smaller text info. I don't have any of it would have to buy some which I can't right now. |

d**n that is coming out great. i have about 3 weathering projects going on im going to need some CSX decals for one of them. whered you pick up the BNSF lettering?
question - what did you paint the car with? airbrush or spraypaint? im working on a similar project. i have already repainted the car with acrylics but i was just curious. in the past i have used spray paint but found it was kind of thick and hid some of the mechanical details on the car.

whered you pick up the BNSF lettering?
Letraset dry Transfers. I have a bunch of it in many sizes and fonts. Shoot me a PM if you want some samples. I'll get them to you USPS First Class, ASAP.
I primed and painted the car with aerosol can enamel. You're right, it does soften details. An airbrush would be the better option. After base coat dried, I weathered and detailed with hobby brand acrylics.

sable. The tests are still too large for HO. But it helps to try on some scrap first
